2. Digital Information Resource Center (DIRC):
   This centre is established to promote the students to be tech- savvy, tobring IT awareness and toaccess the electronic resources. The centre provides the following services and facilities.

   1. The centre presentlyhas14 Personal Computers with internet browsing facility.

   3. The centre provides the services of Electronic Resources Web Portal to access e-books, e-journals, e-theses and dissertations, open access institution repositories; online database and online reference sources (http://www.pactiptur.in/e-Resourses.html).

3. Rare Book Information Resource Center (RIRC):
   This centre mainly includes the rare collection on various specialized concepts and the centeres fulfill the diversified needs of the students who are interested in enhancing their knowledge and career socially, culturally and scientifically. The centre provides the following information resources.

   1. It provides thebooks written by Jnanpeeta awardees.

   2. It provides Biography and Autobiography of the eminent personalities.

   3. It provides the rare collection of the Kalpataru Vidya Samsthe.

About Pallagatti Adavappa Arts College Tiptur
When the Kalpataru Vidya Samsthe Trust was formed in 1962, to administer Kalpataru College, it offered all the three streams of arts, science and commerce. The college flourished for two decades until the strength exceeded 2,500 students. The college had to be bifurcated according to the directions of the collegiate education. So, an independent college for the Arts and Commerce streams was established in the year 1982 and was named after the founder president and philanthropist, Pallagatti Adavappa, while, the science college retained the name Kalpataru.

KALPATARU VIDYA SAMSTHE (R), TIPTUR (ESTD.1961) :
Kalpataru Vidya Samsthe, an important centre for higher education has dispersed knowledge to the local rural masses for nearly six decades and has grown from strength to strength over these years. KVS is instrumental in putting Tiptur on the map of the academia. Today, the Management is flourishing with eight sister institutions one more reputed than the other.

[In 1982 because of huge strength the Kalpataru College got bifurcated as Pallagatti Adavappa Arts and Commerce First Grade College and Kalpataru Science College].
